Alignment : Neutral EvilHe was a child soldier and an ex-mercenary before he got recruited by Rhodes Island. A rather quiet person because he is awkward and not a good conversation starter. Once you get to know him, he's quite talkative. He's quite meek and sensitive to his surroundings, speaking in low, gentle tones to the much younger staff and Operators, as he's aware that his physique, scars, and status as a fallen Sankta make him appear ‘dangerous’.There was a rumor that he had a personality disorder, as he was like a different person when he drew his sword; ruthless and bloodthirsty. No one has confirmed it yet, as he refuses to talk about it.

History

An orphan as long as he could remember. The orphanage he lived in was actually a facade; an upfront created by a small faction to raise a group of monstrous soldiers. The children were given firearms and made to fight each other to the death. Gilvyre was one of the few who survived the inhumane military training, though it resulted in him having a split personality (he was unaware of it).The one he pointed his gun at, the one who made him a 'fallen angel', was his soul-brother. A fellow orphan from the same orphanage, and the first he fought against. They survived their first battle, resulting in a draw, though each carried permanent scars from that clash (the scar around his neck and cheek).At the last test, Gilvyre once again had to face his soul brother. They clashed for long, both waiting for the other to do the finishing blow, as they didn't want to kill each other. Gilvyre planned to give up and let his soul brother live. However, knowing Gilvyre had a better chance to get out of the place alive, he purposely killed himself. Unfortunately, everyone knew what he did, including Gilvyre.The accident got him 'publicly expelled', just, no matter how, it resulted in him as the sole survivor, thus immediately accepted as the core member of the faction's private army. Gilvyre, feeling remorse and guilt over the death, switched personalities and single-handedly destroyed the faction in retaliation. He wandered aimlessly as a mercenary for years before he met Logos in one of the missions.

History

Hitaki is an only child, born to a Matriarch family. She had undergone strict education since young to take over the family business, though she was never intended to do so because she dreamed of building her fashion line. Despite the unwillingness to be the boss lady (as how the women in her family line always become), she didn’t rebel much. Instead, she used the family resources for her own gain, taking advantage of the knowledge she was forced to learn.Right before she opened her very first boutique, she completely cut ties with her family and had her name revoked from the family registry. However, it wasn’t an impulsive decision, as she thoroughly prepared everything; she had enough resources to start independently and had the paperwork for her new business name ready.

And even though she’s upheld fairness in her trades, it’s a different matter when she gambles. The key is: don’t let the opponent find out how you cheat your way to victory. Then again, her gambling skill doesn’t require her to cheat. She mostly does so to teach a lesson or give punishment.She is a nomad, and her business has expanded to all six cities in Huanglong, but her main office is in the heart of Jinzhou. While she has a fond memory of Chongzhou as her birthplace, she rarely visits the city.

However, she didn’t rebel, either. She’s just given them enough satisfaction by acting obediently.One day, on their way back home from their yearly holiday, Retroact Rain hits without warning. Her parents were deeply affected by the intense illusion and killed by Tacet Discords attracted to the energy concentration. It was the very first time Gu Yi experienced misfortune, losing both her parents and a place she once called home.As smart as she was, Gu Yi was just a young girl. She was never prepared to survive in the broken world on her own. Yet, her auspicious luck helped her avoid dangers. Her luck was also what sparked her awakening as a Resonator. She was working in Shackling Prison when Moze approached her at Jiaoqiu's request. He needed her assistance in creating an antidote for Feixiao. Xueyu, lovestruck from the first meeting, blindly followed Moze to meet Jiaoqiu in person and listen to the request.While she thinks the risk of the job is too much despite Jiaoqiu's trust in her ability, weighing down the benefit on Moze--the chance to spend more time with the Shadow Guard, to be exact. Jiaoqiu already promised to make Moze her navigator, escort, and bodyguard if she agreed to help concoct the perfect medicine, no matter how long it takes—assigning Moze to her side simply because Jiaoqiu believes in Moze's strength to keep her on track. Though, Xueyu, blinded by her rose-tinted glasses, thought it was her chance to get to know Moze. She couldn't care less about what the duo plans to do with her.The time she spent with Moze was fruitful. Despite her blatant interest in Moze, Xueyu draws a clear line between them. The tug-of-war confuses Moze about her intention, and they stay in that vague closeness for a while, making Feixiao move to see them getting together.When Moze confronted Xueyu about her misleading hints, she admitted she's equally unsure, especially since she knew her own level. As the General's Shadow Guard, Moze's priority is protecting Feixiao, and Xueyu doesn't want to be the reason for the trio's doom (she doesn't want to be exploited by their enemies because of her relationship with the trio, especially Moze). Understanding her worries, Moze assured her that his loyalty as a Shadow Guard lies and where his heart as a man wants to settle.After clearing the misunderstanding, they've reached a mutual-yet-silent agreement about their attraction. While none voiced out what their relationship is, everyone concluded they were together.

While he still fulfills his responsibilities with a blatant grump and looks for every opportunity to ditch his work, he is also mature enough to finish within a set timeline because he doesn’t want to make his Operators take over his work.On the battlefield, he is always trying to be strong and tough; he doesn’t show much emotion to keep his Operators’ morale from going down, no matter how grim the situation becomes. While he believes there is always a way to win the war, since he knows returning alive is bliss in itself, he pushes himself too much, ensuring none of his people die in front of him, or at least keeps it to a minimum. The stress from facing death every day surely took a toll on him, but he persisted.Despite acting like a total idiot (and pervert at times), he actually enjoys being one since it relieves him from the never-ending war.

History

Before losing his memory, he was a genius who lacked apathy. He still acted silly, but his emotions mostly didn’t reach his eyes, and he stared at people with a cold gaze. Although he shows he cares for his Operators, on the battlefield, he's rather ruthless, willing to sacrifice whoever is needed to secure a victory. He didn't even bother to hide that ruthless side of him.Because of his young appearance, most people underestimate him. He loved the feeling of messing with people who looked down on him, purposely acting like a young boy who knew nothing.After his long sleep and suffering amnesia, he's much more relaxed. His stupidity kind of increased tenfold, and he now blatantly acts stupid, unlike before, when it was more of a facade or a form of entertainment. He laughs more often, and his aura is much gentler than before. Even so, at times it's visible that he just doesn't want to remember his past self. No one has time to explain himself, and his gut tells him it's better he doesn't remember. Thus, he never asks how he was.At times, his apathetic side shows up when he gets fed up with endless talk and long beau. He hates his girly name and prefers not to tell his first name. Though he doesn't remember for now. And unlike back then, even as he's used to the sight of corpses, the idea of death scares him. He just never voiced it out because he knew death was unavoidable on the battlefield.
